Guide to Sports Clubs

Whether you want to continue following a passion, or you want to try something completely new … everyone’s welcome!

Joining a sports club, social club or society is the perfect way to make meaningful campus connections.

Whether you want to continue following a passion you’ve had for ages, or you want to try something completely new, everyone’s welcome. Over the years, students have added to the list of Griffith College clubs and societies, by starting up teams and groups for all sorts of special interests. It might be something creative, cultural or physically challenging. Explore your options here!

Our students, staff and local communities have the chance to use our world-class sporting and fitness facilities, as well as join our social teams and sports clubs. We also have a wide range of sporting events and competitions you can get involved in as a student, whether you’re looking to compete for fun or represent the university.

Joining a sports club is a great way to meet people who share your interests and make friends in the Griffith community. Griffith sports clubs cater for all types of players and levels of experience, offering you the chance to play sport purely recreationally as well as in regular social competitions. Clubs are open to everyone – you don’t need to be a Griffith student to sign up.
